Questions?
There is a lot going on with our ministry and you might have some questions too. Check out what others have asked.
Q:
What other "rules" are there to attend STORM Camp?
A: We have a detailed
Camp Manual which
outlines many of the specific rules that help us guarantee a safe,
fun and enjoyable time for all participants.
Q:
Do I need any special skills to attend?
A: NO...All projects chosen are within any attendees abilities.
Special jobs that may require specific skills are assigned to groups
we know have those skills. Sometimes, a local skilled
person/craftsman is recruited to work with your team. All you need is an open heart and an
interest to help others.
Q: I have a friend who I'd like to
attend with. Can we stay together?
A: Usually we try to pair up lodging arrangements with those who
know each other. However, we assign various youth to TIM groups
which eat together, attend chapel together and are then assigned
various projects so you learn about others and from friendships
outside your regular circle. You still can interact with others at
camp during various "down" times during the week.
Q: How much does it cost to attend
2010 STORM Camp?
A: The cost for youth for the week is $275.00
if signed up by 3/31 ($300 after),
which includes all food, lodging, activities and this years themed
T-Shirt. Many churches have fund raisers to help with the cost of
this event. Check with your church. Cost for adults is $265
